Patryk Dróżdż – Director of Photography, whose work spans narrative feature films, commercials, documentaries, music videos, and branded content. A certified underwater camera operator and drone pilot.
His cinematography gained international recognition with the short war thriller “Signal”, which received numerous awards at international film festivals, including five for Best Cinematography. His first feature as DOP, Memento Mori, premiered at Luna Cinema in Warsaw in 2019. In Q3 2026, his first feature-length documentary “UN/BOUND” is scheduled to premiere. Currently he’s preparing two debut narrative features – “Prelude” and “Thyl”.
Drawn to analogue filmmaking, Patryk recently collaborated on the development phase of the latest feature by Marcin Koszałka, where he shot a test sequence on 35mm Kodak film stock. He plans to shoot the upcoming projects entirely on film.
Alongside his narrative work, Patryk is the founder and director of Dakka Prod Ltd, producing commercials, brand films, and corporate content for international clients. He has worked alongside some of Poland’s leading commercial filmmakers, operating the camera on productions by Tadeusz Śliwa and Maciej Kozłowski.
Committed to continuous artistic development, Patryk has participated in international film labs and workshops, including Kyoto Filmmakers Lab (Japan), FoFF Film Lab (Estonia), and hands-on masterclasses led by acclaimed Polish cinematographers and directors, including Marcin Koszałka and Daniel Jaroszek.
He has also spent more than eight years working across television productions as DOP, Camera Operator, 1AC, gaffer, and lighting technician. Earlier in his career, he documented major European music festivals—including Qlimax, Thunderdome, and Masters of Hardcore—working with production companies such as Follow the Step and RMVision.
